I write about AI, finance, and marketplaces from the operator side, specifically the parts where the maps run out.

Eleven years in emerging markets. I’m Ugandan, currently between Dubai, Nairobi, and San Francisco depending on the month. I led African market entry for Binance, Bybit, and Bitget, then ran Africa & Ecosystem Growth at Coinbase for Base. Most recent work was institutional stablecoin distribution, central bank engagement across Sub-Saharan Africa, and closing the partnerships that make USDC flow on the continent.

I co-founded GenAI4Africa, a community helping African builders work with AI agents and modern tooling. I run my own multi-agent infrastructure for daily ops. Nine inboxes triaged on autopilot, research pipelines, lead scoring, all on a $600 Mac Mini.

This publication is where I write down what I’m seeing. Stablecoin distribution in markets the maps don’t quite reach. The brokerages and marketplaces reshaping how capital moves. The AI infrastructure operators actually use. The regulatory inflections deciding who wins.

Some posts are sharp data analyses. Some are operator field notes. Some are obituaries for founders who built something that mattered.

If you build, hire, fund, or regulate at the intersection of AI, finance, and marketplaces, you’ll probably find something useful here.
